Working in miniature gives me a much broader perspective on my surroundings. 

Hi, I'm Massimo Vignati, a puppet and prop maker. I'm a stop-motion animator and model-making enthusiast. My journey has been a turbulent one. I started out as an engineer and then developed a passion for writing and animation. My mind is torn between rationality and creativity. A constant struggle, but also a balancing act to bring out the best in each. 

In my work and drawings, I always try to bring out the strongest traits of my personality: the comical, sometimes grotesque, and the asymmetrical, which makes its imperfection its greatest asset. A stop motion creator from Italy, creative, hard-working and with an eye for detail.
